Mel joined Highmark in 2005 as Vice President, Professional Services and assumed his current role as President in 2009. He manages our North Carolina office and provides senior leadership to the State Government, Education, and Healthcare business groups.

Mel has a successful 25-year track record in managing diverse consulting services and delivering large information technology projects to federal government, state government, and commercial clients. He was Engagement Manager for Keane’s business management and technology consulting services to the North Carolina State Government. His prior positions include Program Manager at ARIST Corporation and programming and analytical jobs. Mel holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
